Egyptian and European companies working in the fresh and processed food sector are cordially invited to participate in the business match-making that will be held end of October in Parma, Italy. Around 90 -100 SMEs from Egypt, Palestine, Syria, France, Spain, Italy and other countries will participate in the match-making event that will take place in parallel to the CibusTech 2009 exhibition (international agro-food processing fair) in Palermo. The matchmaking event has the aim of exchanging know how and technology between Mediterranean and EU companies increasing joint ventures, investment and trade flows. In the machineries for food processing and related environmental issues sector it exists a great potential of business, know how and technology exchange. In countries that suffer of water shortage and drought it is essential to apply sustainable food processing technologies that foresee water re-use.
