CHAIRPERSON

 

The council consists of business associations and commercial chambers of the 27 EU Member States, or the leading member state company if no association is existing.

 

The Secretariat

According to its statutes, the CEEBA Executive Board includes the four founding commercial chambers and business associations of Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy (BEBA, Cafe, CCI and GACIC). Furthermore one member from the EU 15 states and two from the 10 new member states whereas the Advisory council includes the Executive Committee along with the representatives of the remaining member states. The representatives are changing every six months. The Chairperson- chip changes every six months following the EU presidency sequence.

 

Secretary General and the Operations Manager are working with the facilities and logistic support of the four founding organizations GACIC, BEBA, Cafe and CCI to outreach to their members and are networking with their EU counterparts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ceeba does not accept direct company membership as its membership is restricted to its member business associations with a toal of over 6.000 companies including all European companies operating in Egypt.

Mr. Mahmoud El Kaissy
  • Jésuites school graduate 1966 – Cairo.
  • Hold a BA degree in Business Management from the High institute of Commerce in Cairo.
  • Co-Founder & Former President of the “Centre des Hommes d’Affaires des Père Jésuites”.
  • Vice Chairman to date of Medgenco Int’l Trade Co. established 1969 & deals mainly in Petrochemical projects from supply to transfer of technology with special emphasis for Raw Material & Machinery related to plastic transforming industries.
  • Vice Chairman AID Committee in the American Chamber of Commerce Egypt (AMCHAM) 1992 – 1994.
  • Chairman AID Committee in the American Chamber of Commerce Egypt (AMCHAM) 1994 – 1996.
  • Chairman Concorde International Co. “Fana Farms” specializing in supply & export of table grapes & fresh vegetables from the family owned farms in Meniah – Upper Egypt to the European Union countries.
  • Co-Founder & Chairman of Hunting & Environmental protection Society.
  • Former President of Club d’Affaires Franco Egyptien (CAFÉ) which is the most important concern for the economical cooperation between French & Egyptian Companies (May 2002 - May 2005).
