Plato Egypt started its sessions

The first meetings of two of the three Egyptian Plato Groups have taken place in the past month.

The Plato Group from Alexandria which is mentored by Unilever, met to learn about the balance score card system, and especially managing financial and non-financial aspects alongside organizational vision and strategy. Participants discussed the Internal Business Process, Learning and Growth, Customer and Financial Perspectives to achieve an optimum tailored action plan according to a strategic management system.

In Cairo, the Plato Mentor Bavarian Auto Group (BAG) met with the Plato members and reviewed pioneer marketing strategies employed which can make or break entrepreneurs. Speaker of the session was Mr. Abdel Kaddous, Marketing Manager of BAG, who presented professional marketing basics involving surveying market need, research, training and feedback. Techniques on how to pay attention to every competitor whether local or international and how to target the right people were shared as well. At the end of a session participants were briefed about performance ethics such as transparency.

The Plato network is aimed at allowing small to medium enterprises to collaborate, in an effort to learn by exchanging knowledge skills and expertise from peers and mentors. Implemented by CEEBA and supported by Invest in Med, Plato Egypt is the first Plato network in the Middle East.
